AMNOUGAR center for training and professional integration of persons with disabilities in a precarious situation  :

The center AMNOUGAR is located in Tizgui Lillan, Fint (rural municipality of Tarmigte) 10km from the town of Ouarzazate. It was created in 1994 at the initiative of persons linked to the disability and from different professional backgrounds in order to help the most urgent needs still...

Specific Objectives :

• Training students to target the techniques of agricultural production;
• Training students to target arts and crafts: jewelry, ironwork and carpentry of wood.
• Support students after receiving their training in the creation and consolidation of their own small companies (TPE or AGR) or in access to employment.
• Promote the autonomy of the person with disabilities;
• Raise awareness and mobilize people around the student (families, local communities, associations, private sector ...) for the contribution in improving the living conditions of disabled people.

Targed Population : 

People with disabilities aged between 18 to 30 years, from underprivileged areas within the city of Ouarzazate in particular and the Souss-Massa-Draa in general.
To promote inclusive approach of Amnougar Centre; is open to young people in precarious situations.

• Carpenter Art /  andwood.

Amnougar center is available by a well-equipped container components suitable for a successful vocational training for persons with disabilities include:

• Three workshops for learning the jewelry, carpentry of wood and wrought iron.
• Agricultural land, barn, workshop of beekeeping, and a workshop of the rabbit for the of agriculture and livestock sector.
• Five dormitories (3 for boys and 2 for girls), with a capacity for 40 people.
• Dining room and kitchen.
• Nursing.
• Administration.
• Multi-purpose room.
• Two rooms available to supervisory staff.

Professional Training :
The important objective of the Centre Amnougar is to transfer students with the knowledge and know-how (technical, economic and management) necessary for the appropriation of operating system micro farms and crafts. One of the goals pursued is to train future operators autonomous.

The training takes place in the form of theoretical learning alternating with psychomotor learning, and encourages beneficiaries to acquire skills in the knowledge of trades taught and to develop technical tools to facilitate their integration into working life.

Visits to the students families are scheduled as needed, and this, to know the circumstances and social realities in their home villages and to raise awareness and mobilize families to support students with projects and facilitate their social and economical integration.

In order to fulfill the students, Amnougar center organizes competitions in various sports and cultural activities with a bonus system symbolic (novels, dictionaries, medals etc...), and conducts educational workshops (drawing...) in order to generate the thinking among students. Also, to explore the socio-economic environment in general and the workplace in particular, the center organizes exchange cultural experiences and ideas.
